The trailing stems make it perfect choice for growing in hanging baskets, but it's also stunning when allowed to spread across a tabletop or other surface. This is a houseplant that really thrives in bright but indirect sunlight. The brighter the light you provide your tradescantia plant, the more flowers it will produce. If it’s not getting enough light, the brightly-colored foliage will begin to fade. It is native to Mexico, South America, and Central America.
